Success in Breach of Contract Case

Tony Malley of Malley Law Firm and Robert Hand of Stevenson and Murray Law Firm won a breach of contract case after a multi-day trial in Harris County against a seller of real property in Houston. The case involved a multi-million dollar property located on the Southwest Freeway just outside the 610 Loop. Buyer and seller contracted to convey the property to buyer. When seller failed to deliver the property to buyer on those terms, buyer sued for specific performance in addition to lost profits on rental value. The jury found the seller failed to comply with the contract and awarded over $100,000 in past rent and $180,000 in attorney’s fees to buyer, represented by Malley Law Firm.
